Everything is bigger in the US?
Not true.
When I first went to the U.S., my host parents made fun of me for being bedazzled by the cereal shelves. And I must admit, they are amazing—excessive to be frank. I had never seen any cereal shelves so overwhelming in my life. I mean, where else in the world would I have to spend fifteen minutes choosing the right cereal? In Thailand, I probably spend the most of 5 minutes because there aren’t that many kinds to choose. My host parents thought it was hilarious, so they snapped a picture of me with the cereal shelves on the left (I mean, my right).

And yesterday, I finally found something that would rival the U.S. endless shelves of cereal: the Thai aisle of rice!

Take that, USA!!
